See, THAT is why I figured Tank Top was Berdine.

Arm warmers. They are probably compensating for the lack of warm fur.

We also have something similar at work. But those are made with kevlar to keep people from slicing themselves on sharp metal.
They're just exercising their 2nd amendment rights to bear arms...

(I can't believe no one else went there ='P)

Some of us thought it would be more polite to wait to see if somebody else (like you) wanted to do so... so, we chose to defur our comments for a while.

It kinda looks, after some double-checking, that Nadette has a preference for looks with thinner, "stringier" hair (think Acacia's hair) and Berdine with more "curly" hair (like Brandi). Berdine's current "look" is probably just to make it obvious that she's related to Nadette.

Fairportfan wrote:SO when did they switch their preferences in tops?

When they're introducing themselves, i noticed that Berdine's the one in the top with spaghetti straps (for want of a better term) but now Nadette is the one in the halter top?

(I figured that was supposed to be a way to keep track.)
I was going by their hairstyles. Nadette had more jaggedy pointy hair, while Berdine's was more rounded. That was holding true even in their pseudo-Atsali forms, while their sleeveless vs. sleeved clothing had switched. Now, though, the hair has gone different as well. Which is why I went with personality to identify them.

Trying to rely on clothes to tell these two apart is a waste of time. They change clothes at the snap of their fingers after all. They just morph their fur to look different. Just because one wore a tank top in one frame doesn't mean she didn't change it in the next. The only real clue will be the talkative one will always give herself away. Paul gave the correct line up for today's strip and that is that answered. Tomorrow the positions might change.

Stance, too, on occasion.

Wouldn't it be weird if Castela's eyes recognized Da Bears no matter their appearance?

Since Castela's "eyes" are tiny stalks inside her eye sockets, I don't even know how - or IF - they "see" anything. (My best guess is they work like some kind of sonar, but that's just me.) So, I agree: That would be weird. ;)

Tina, on the other hand, would promptly recognize the twins as paranormal using her AuraVision.

Well, she talks about the inside of her beloved pot being nice and dark, so presumably she has some sort of light detectors. But since she's a critter/plant hybrid, then that means she could potentially have any of the light-detecting organs that any species from those taxa use. Or something different from anything possessed by any member of those taxa.

Perhaps her eye sockets form parabolic reflectors that she can stretch around to change how they catch the light, and her eyestalks adjust themselves so that the light-detecting bud at the end of them is kept in the focal point. Or she could have "eyes" in each cell of her body, sort of like a more developed Euglena. Or she could see through the power of condensed cuteness.

But what OS is it compatible with?

Several of them, actually... it's somewhat portable.

Since it gives Tina understanding of a person's existential state and turmoils, it's clearly compatible with BeOS.

Since it provides her with windows onto peoples' souls... well, that one is obvious.

Probably runs on DOS (the Demonic Operating System).

It does need an OS, though. Considering how badly Tina injured herself parallel parking after driving around in her car, it's apparent that it doesn't function properly "on the bare metal" of a touring machine. This isn't a recent problem, either... the original Tina 1.0 prototype crashed pretty badly when run in that environment, and managed to wipe out much of her long-term data storage and lose access to her source code.
