Nice try, but Bud definitely entered the demon realm, to rescue Mayahuel, and had some demons on her tail, who were not aware of Brandi's agreement, or something to that effect, when she exited Shelly's tattoo post haste.

Furthermore, the calendar machine ceased to function in the demon realm, where there is no "time" as we know it. An alternate dimension would still have "time", just different circumstances/history.

When he was messing with Scarlet earlier he saw you and Castela setting up the recorder and EMF meter, and didn't say "Oh wow, that's my dead girlfriend!" He's doing to you what he did to her.

Since this new kid Dustin closely resembles Timothy (enough to seem to fool both Scarlet and Daylla), there may be some family relationship between them. At the least, Dustin may be the same sort of para as Timothy is.

If that's the case, then we have to assume that he can't necessarily be trusted.

He may be lion.

(However, if he's just messing with Daylla, the big question is "How is he pulling it off?". Considering the way she now seems to be "seeing through herself", there's definitely more going on than just verbal deception... either Dustin, or some other force or entity, is doing something to mess up her perceptions.)

Or, an older brother? If I recall correctly, Dustin has consistently appeared to be taller than Timothy... (exercises simple archive-fu)... yup.

So, they could be fraternal twins (but probably not identical, unless Timothy was the runt of the litter for non-genetic reasons), or siblings.

I wonder whether we're getting into the "many worlds" theory of quantum physics here... with "ghosts" being the result of leakage back and forth between different "what-if?" universes/time-lines.

I'm guessing that the whole ghost-hunting gig isn't quite going the way that Daylla had anticipated when she first proposed it.

So, lots of possibilities here:

The ghost has taken Daylla fully into something similar to Nether, and is messing with her mind for some reason (the ghost did earlier on imply that ghosts might want to have fun sometimes, too).

Daylla has crossed into the Land of the Dead, where the living are like ghosts.

The ghost has spent years there with nothing much to do but think about stuff, and ended up creating its own weird reality in the way that Atsali suggested Skylar might have accidentally done to a stairwell.

Daylla didn't realise the eggnog she had before bed was from Atsali and Nadette's secret 80-proof stash that they left hidden in the high school.

Bobby Ewing will suddenly walk out of the shower.

Roseanne will wake up next to her dead husband.

And Bob Newhart will wake up next to his brunette wife, having dreamt he was managing an inn somewhere in Vermont, while married to a blonde.

And Reginald will awaken out in the desert, vaguely remembering a dream in which he had thought himself to be a half-Fae lad named Hiroshi.

Reginald then swears he will never touch fermented cactus-flower nectar again, and flits off in search of a willow tree whose bark might successfully medicate his hangover.

And then Leo Laporte wakes up from a dream where his tech support show was replaced by a bunch of internet numbnuts for 8 years.

And then Hal wakes up next to Lois, and informs her of this really weird dream where he imagined he was a high school chemistry teacher dying of cancer, and how he cooked meth to pay for his treatments...

And then is confronted by Clark, who wants to know why Green Lantern's in bed with his wife...

(It was a joke ending to that other show Bryan Cranston was the star of...)

And then Adolph Hitler wakes up next to his wife Eva and tells her of his horrible dream about Europe in flames, and she suggests that might be a good inspiration for his next series of paintings, since his landscapes are doing so well and it might punch things up a bit to branch out in a new direction.
