To judge from the cross-hatching on her arms and leg, she's already taken a couple of tumbles, and hasn't been slowed down a bit.

First time it's been outright stated, though it was apparent from her first adventure with Katherine that she recovers quickly from owies.

Or would that require her fully ditching her human guise?

That could be it: something she can do while staying human.

Remember the early comments about not liking her other form very much? And the way she freaked out about the puberty changes?
