That is a possibility I had not considered. I always thought she was too polite and disciplined to consider that. Maybe not.

Inasmuch as she should not feel guilty about the way she looks, she still should not (in my opinion) go out of her way to provoke that kind of reaction from others.

Honestly, I wish she had...

One can only hope...

Well, from what was said during the eggnog incident, the rules are different from paranormals and they are old enough to legally consume alcohol.

Of course, Cerebus Club may be open to everyone and therefore need to enforce human rules, or it may have other reasons for having a separate section for teens.

There may be some para species that do have firmer drinking regulations... or, at least, stronger social conventions against drinking at a young age.

Methinks that a rowdy-drunk teenage sphinx might be quite a handful. The sequelae (seriously-hung-over teenage sphinx, in the bazooka-barfing stage of recovery) would be even worse.

Well, good thing Atsali's not a teenage sphinx, then....

Aw, crap. Dixie's just gonna trade "flying predatory baby" handful for "rebellious troublemaking teen" handful, isn't she?

No objection from Kathrine may equate to Katherine having not turned her head and looked at Atsali.

Particularly depending on whom she ate.

She's a Mom. She's got eyes in the back of her head.

That Kath didn't have second thoughts at Lily's words, and did speak about boobs, suggests she knew what Atsali wasn't wearing. And was willing to let it pass.

i'm, not so sure about that line of thought... she only replied about boobs because Lily brought up the subject of "Body-Shaming" first... what with it being still fresh in her mind about the pool, that instantly popped into Kath's head, ergo she was replying to Lily about body-shaming vs Boobs... and KATHERINE being relatively asexual about her attitude when she started getting hers, so remembering back to that time, she incorrectly equates that to how Atsali should be acting as a normal HUMAN girl should/would... but remember that Atsali is NOT a HUMAN is she!... therefore her reactions ARE different, but Katherine just doesn't seem to notice... how could she when she didn't even turn her HEAD to LOOK at Atsali/Nadette... as a MOM she should have said something about her lack of clothing for a MALL... a club,... well... that's where the line gets a bit fuzzy in my mind, on one hand she's going to a club, where clothing like that is, i hesitate to say 'required', but it is very much condoned / overlooked as "normal clubbing wear" by other patrons and staff, so they wouldn't get kicked out for wearing such... but by the same token, going out to a MALL like that CAN and probably WILL get them kicked out, most likely by people of the same mind-set as Jessie's Mom (even though she's got it goin' on) if not her personally AGAIN. only THIS time there won't be anybody's UNCLE around to help them out (in a round-about way, via Devyn/Poseidon)... seeing as it seems that Jessie's mom is a "I'M High Society and I'M BETTER than you lowly peons" type of person, so she probably would be at the mall with the rest of her clique doing the bigoted trendy fashionista type stuff... that said, for whatever reason the Cerberus Club has it's distinct "all ages" area and (until heard otherwise from W.O.G.) the "Adult" side of the club... I'll still bet that they are going to try to sneak in to the adult side...

Getting into a different area - something on the comments at the page called to mind something that i'd been wondering about looking at this page:

Now that Lily has pulled out of her funk/depression/suicidal ideation phase, she looks younger than Katherine, which makes sense, since as a vampire she should be stuck at the age when she died, which, i'd guess, was somewhere in her twenties, while Katherine is in her thirties.

What's going to happen/how's she going to react when Katherine ages and eventually dies ... and Atsali and Castela do the same?

Sort of the same thing as with Bud and Kevin - unless Bud gets May to rewrite her programming, she is going to stay nineteen or twentyish forever ... and Kevin, who already appears older than she is, is going to get even older.

Huh.
Occasionally, but you don't see it terribly often in the Midwest.

I was wondering if it was a case of "it doesn't happen a lot around here" or a "you hang out with the wrong kind of people to see bandana tops" situation.
