Gotta say, Harem has given the most evocative description of flatulence I've ever read.

That's not necessarily a good thing, mind you, but it's memorable!

A bit shy of 300 pages - Page 288 is mop-up.

Publish that - straight - in comic-book form, a little over a year. Modify pages, etc, to make the continuity flow more smoothly page-to-page in book form, maybe a year.

Not that far out of line for the Lee & Kirby Fantastic Four.

Do you mean 'real time' or what ?? grrlpower is only updated twice a week, not 5 times like wapsi...

nah, I'll take Vehemence for his power-set any day, but if i couldn't get genetically ingrained super powers, then I'll gladly take the next best thing around... the Orbs.... they give the equivalent to powers, but they CAN be interfered with by such mundane things as MITTENS... Muah Ha Ha Ha!....

as for comic-time versus real-time: "The Mansion of E"... I'm still not done with the archive binge but from what I've read so far it's been like IRL eight+ years for less than 24 hours in-comic... 16 July 2003 to where I'm at right now... 11 Oct 2011

One of the most fun comic pages EVER is the cascading results when Maxima catches one of Harem and gives her an atomic wedgie (we know it was an atomic wedgie because the unsound effect is "ATOMIC!"):

Thank you, AFF! I had a sort of bet running with myself, as to whether you would use that particular facial expression, by that particular pianist, as one of your avatars. I didn't know quite when, but I was fairly sure you wouldn't be able to resist. A grimace that could reduce a store manager to tears through a one-way window, ought to do wonders staring out from flat-panel screens all across Wapsifanland. The emotional carnage should reach epic proportions.

So, now I get to go buy myself a beer or something for winning, I suppose.

And shudder a bit.

Oh, I think he knows "fast". He's been dumping us on our heads with lightspeed bootlegger turns for a long, long time. :)

He just isn't limited to "fast". Wapsi Square has big rewards for those readers who have an extensible attention span. Those rewards are often missed by readers of a less patient nature.
This...a lot of this... :)

And definitely this! :) I'm glad Paul hasn't had to do this to us...or if he did, it was so intensely fascinating that I never realized it. :P
