Surrounded by glass with mechanical devices for opening the roof and upper glass panels- THAT is a greenhouse.

Ah, the old "Cry for help in an abandoned structure" trick. I've seen this movie before.

Of course, if the location is creepy-ass spooky enough, even "When the log rolls over, we all shall die!" would make me one with the Speed Force as I got the funk out of there.

That's rather what I thought when I saw it. But the question is, why? What connection would there be between Devyn and an old style greenhouse? And why a chain link fence at one end? Very strange.

But a goodie!

I wonder if they're going to pluck up their courage and go investigate. Or if whatever's down at that end is going to come for them, first.

Concerning the dark terrors which lie buried from the distant past... I recall that the late, honored Randall Garrett did an excellent story based on Lovecraft's Chthulu mythos. It puts a different, and very interesting slant on the idea.

It's entitled The Horror Out Of Time. I found a copy online here starting on page 76.

As Rod Sterling put it, "Offered for your consideration."

"Submitted for your approval: A pair of Mean Girls out to patrol the hallways of their high school, looking for the day's catch: someone trying hard not to get noticed. But today, the curriculum will cover what can happen when your noticing has been noticed. That's the catch, a harsh lesson best taught in.... The Wapsi Square."
