I didn't use this one here, yet - it's from two pages before, as Jolene finds it impossible to decide how to tell Important Historical And Genealogical News to her co-worker - and i actually like it better.as363 wrote:Love the new avatar - at least you didn't use Reggie !
I suspect Castela knows this, and is channeling Nudge to make extra sure that Atsali doesn't mess up. She's remarked before that adults have trouble listening, so she needs to use overkill strategies to get them to pay attention to her when she sees trouble brewing.Catawampus wrote:Likely in a most hilarious manner.zachariah wrote:But trying a contrived plan using your younger sister is asking for it to blow up in her face. It will too.

Imagine how hurt Castela is going to be when Atsali no longer includes her in anything because she can't keep her mouth shut. Actions have consequences, even for young blackthornes.ActionKermit wrote:Judging by panel 3, I'm starting to think maybe it's not that Pickle has no filters, but rather that she's started growing out of that and is actively trolling.
This one calls out for a custom title. Or location, perhaps?AnotherFairportfan wrote:I didn't use this one here, yet - it's from two pages before, as Jolene finds it impossible to decide how to tell Important Historical And Genealogical News to her co-worker - and i actually like it better.as363 wrote:Love the new avatar - at least you didn't use Reggie !

And, you can get the clock on your VCR set that way, so it stops just blinking 12:00 all the time.Warrl wrote:"One of my advisors will be an average five-year-old child. I'm half-a-Century and I'm still the one who sets the VCRs. (Actually, most all the remaining ones are autoset by now...) <-- Robots stole my job...Dave wrote:And, you can get the clock on your VCR set that way, so it stops just blinking 12:00 all the time.Warrl wrote:"One of my advisors will be an average five-year-old child. (Sheesh, VCRs are so out of style these days, we're going to need a new metaphor for "only the young are sufficiently tech-savvy to do that for their hapless parents")
Pfft, I can unplug a VCR quite well on my own, thank you.Dave wrote:And, you can get the clock on your VCR set that way, so it stops just blinking 12:00 all the time.Warrl wrote:"One of my advisors will be an average five-year-old child. Hmm. . .we have Castela as the new Nudge, Nadette as the new Tina, Calista as the new Shelly. . .so who will be this generation's Marcus P. Smooze?ActionKermit wrote:I suspect Castela knows this, and is channeling Nudge to make extra sure that Atsali doesn't mess up.
This morning I took my car in for its legally-required annual inspection. As I was paying at the counter, the kid who'd worked on my car asked me if I was into history. You can probably say that I am, especially since I studied and taught it at university, but I had absolutely no idea what might have led the guy to ask that. Then he told me that he'd noticed the "antique" uniforms in the back seat of my car.oldmanmickey wrote:Raises his Geritol and proposes a toast. “Age has no reality except in the physical world, which is of course the only world that any of us live in.”
