Eyes... Maybe, I posted a few days/weeks ago that it seemed that the swirlyness of her pupils were getting smaller and smaller, and that maybe if/when she stopped thinking of herself as "We are just a bunch of demons piloting an empty body", and more as "I am me"... then they will turn fully human-like... but, as usual, I can be wrong, only time (and Paul) will tell...

I think the empty sockets that used to be eyes, will stay the same. The "swirlies" are there just to remind us that they aren't really eyes at all, just a projection of the collective to keep people from running away screaming. Tina is not "alive" in the human sense, just an empty shell being piloted by a collection of demons.

The crisis is not quiet over. As i said Jet is going to wonder what happened, how it happened, and why it happened. I kinda doubt she is going to let that slide too long.

I'm still hoping she finally divulges what the 5 winged beings of which she is a part are and what their purpose is...and what the result of her getting white wings will be...

I'd have assumed that the white wings were just a reflection of how Tina was feeling at that moment...except I wonder if naming the strip "White Wing" was meant to suggest that it's a more permanent change.

Either way I think today's page is just beautiful and touching.

Who says this is Blackwing transformed? There are 5 winged creatures. White wing may be an entirely separate being. This is just the first time we have seen it.

While this may be true, and while Tina is a covey of demons (i.e. the rats running the ship), we have Phix telling Tina that there is another who is already what Tina may become...

All I know is when I saw Tina with white wings my clenched fists shot into the air as I hissed "yessssssssssssssssssss!!!"

I have to wonder if Jet crying is because she sees Tina, white wings and all and thinks she's dead and gone to heaven? Waking up to that image would be a shock to anyone.
