I tend to be up most of the night hours; i go to bed about the time Kate is getting up, and wake up when she comes home for lunch. (During the school year, i have to drive her back to work so i can pick up the girls at school.)

This afternoon, i woke up and heard her talking on the phone in the living room. After she hung up, i sort of drowsed, and then heard movement on the other side of the room.

I asked if it were she - got no answer.

Shortly after that, she called to me from the living room; i got up to go see what she wanted, and then i spotted the souce of the noises earlier:

SOmeday i'll have to go through four years of pictures and see how many "Rocket in {X}" i have - i know there are boxes and bags of her - including one when she was half-grown with just her head sticking out of an empty case of 9 Lives canned food.

Speaking of...

I used my phone to take this picture, which explains the blurriness, but you can still tell it's my cat. Until I transferred the picture to my nook, I'd forgotten about the other cat being partially in the picture.

Bork bork bork...

Anyway, five days before I joined, I took a few pics on my phone.

Here's two of them:

That's at a Slipknot concert, by the way. They had just kicked off a tour with Korn and KING 810 the week before (I think), and it was the first time I'd ever seen any signed band.

Hell of a show.
