Highest-grossing Disney Animation film ever

Frozen is now the #2 all-time grossing Disney film (only Lion King is bigger) and has topped the box office again,  six weeks after opening.

Kids must have wanted to mimic the weather when they went to the movies this weekend. Disney’s Frozen won the weekend box office six weeks after opening—a feat virtually unheard of—netting $52.5 million from overseas markets and $20.7 million domestically, which also pushed it past the $600 million mark worldwide. Frozen is now Disney’s second-most successful title of all time—after The Lion King—and it has reached No. 4 among original animated films.
