I guess it does have to be called Thupthing. Now since you dubbed it you also have to provide it with it's patent of royalty to go along with it's title. Without that document it is only a pretender with no documented claim to the title. Though how we can arrange for the delivery of the paperwork kinda has me stumped.

[Not to mention the thousands of people Lily murdered in very gruesome ways over the centuries to sustain herself. Perhaps even more to cover up the murder of those or whatever. Life is sure to throw a lot at a vampire. Who knows what scale of evil she engaged in before finding a conscience. Lots of suffering to go around.

But remember that all those people she would have murdered would have had to been criminals, probably of the worse sort, in order for her to be able to eat them.

It would be depressing to know there are that many, but it would have its own moments of satisfaction too. Wonder if there is a difference in taste by the nature of the crime, and which is ymmier -- multiple murderers or child molesters.

I don't know what Lily is about to do with the crystal... but she does appear to be implacably determined to do it!

I suppose that having the opportunity to get your hands on the being who murdered your unborn children, left you to die in the desert, condemned you to thousands of years of undead existence, wiped out all of your relatives and friends, and conned its way into position to write you an undeservedly-bad performance review with your new employer, would do that to you. Most of us have surely wanted to strangle The Boss at least once or twice in our careers, but Lily has more reason than usual.

Precisely. DilyV named it Thup...and at least a handful of us latched onto it...so I'm going to keep saying its name is Thup until Paul tells us otherwise. Shelly's "conscience" has never truly been named, but we call her CG or Connie anyway...it's the same kind of thing here I think.
