These next two were taken a week ago - on the expedition to get computer parts.
This one is a car i've seen around Gainesville more than once; sitting in line waiting to pick up Maggie and Natalie was my first cahnce to actually get a picture.
...and this one is at the mall where we stopped for Helen to look for a new foundation garment. I was fascinated by an entry in the mall directory for "Slingshot Speedway"; i wondered if it might be a virtual-reality set up like the "World of NASCAR" that used to be opposite the box office at the Mall of Georgia IMAX ... but it's not. (Oddly enough, there is an SR-21 in the same mall...)
It's the first actual commercial slot-racing track i've seen in twenty or more years.
