Happy Thanksgiving.

Post by Bookworm »

Hopefully all six of you had a joyous Thanksgiving with your loved ones, and gave thanks for all of your blessings, even if it was as simple as "We have food to eat."

As one of the Six, I thank you and wish you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving as well. Mine have become less & less 'traditional' over the years, I encourage everyone to make it your own, and bring our the Good.

Don't forget to Kiss the Cook.

I survived my family’s drama and snagged leftovers. It was as good a thanksgiving as I’ll get for now, so that’s good.

First Thanksgiving since both the parents are gone. My niece is on deployment in Iraq, and her husband was invited to spend the day with fellow firefighters. So my brother was here for four days. We selectively observed our father's traditions for the day.

Deschuttes Black Butte porter--Check.

Redbreast (12-year-old Irish whiskey)--Check.

Tofurky--Yeah, no.

I made the once and future traditional thanksgiving pizza, and on Saturday he helped us rack and blend some of the new wine that was still pretty active when we pressed it.

This morning it's back to the mineface. I'm just here procrastinating again. :?
