Patreon has Changed It's Mind

Yes, we trusted you to pass our money to the artists we chose for a fixed amount, and you decided, unannounced, that you'd increase our cost to do so by grabbing extra money from our account, per individual transaction.

Please do think that over, and why you should ever be trusted again.
Don't let other peoples limitations become your constraints!

There's an old saying: "It's easier to ask forgiveness, than it is to receive permission."

That may be true, much of the time.

"Easier" does not necessarily equate to "less expensive", though.

One of the problems with not asking, is that we rarely know what we don't know. We usually underestimate our own ignorance. We fail to learn from history because we hadn't ever read the right history book.

Group-think can be fatal, to you or to others. (Object case from history: JFK's coterie of "the brightest and the best" advisers, who took the first steps that plunged the US into Vietnam).

And, as Kubla-kubla said, "Trust is such a fragile thing."
