Looks like Shawna is part lamprey. That, or she's secretly one of those salt vampires from Star Trek (TOS, "The Man Trap", and a few small appearances/mentions in Lower Decks.

Mindy has some issues with her self-esteem. She needs more friends, but she's not going to get friends without some self-esteem. Pity, she's super cute and doesn't know it.

Yeah, but it's not the forgetfulness of old age that keeps me from remembering names, I've never been good with people's names. I blame my being a Cold War military brat, by the time you managed to put a name to a face either you or they were at another duty station. DOD screwed up several thousand kids with their practices then, which are changed now because they know better.
