Between micro-pup licks or a counselor I think I would prefer the licks.

I wonder if Digit will ever learn that she's been trying to teach Grandma how to suck eggs? :D

I don't know what Dietzel actually is, but "old soul" definitely seems to apply.

I really do think the person Dietzel helped should have had a name in the tags with Dietzel (and Digit in this strip) even if we aren't going to see her again.

I suspect that Paul is deliberately setting up a Mystery here.

(Would I be punning, if I guessed that her family name is Gunn? Of course I would.)

Two things: first, our school system here in Mesa has a "therapy dog" employed at one of the high schools as a "comfort animal". They work along with a school counselor to help in what I'd have to think is a similar way to Dietzel's actions here.

Second - that is an interesting POV of the main atrium of the Library there, with the Greco-Roman-style colonnades and all.

if only Dietzel could, what stories he could tell

So -if there are Micro-Agressions, where are the Micro-Affirmations? Who's studying that?
