Nothing like a tiny dog magically jumping through planes of existence to cure his loneliness.

Yup. The plot plottens. This just reeks of mischief-to-be-made, with a side of havoc and a hefty dash of we-knew-that-pooch-weren't-natural.

That bark would probably be absurdly cute to listen to.

I'm getting an image of Dietzel being a referee at the invitational Ant Races Finals. Giddyup!

Is this showing Dietzel with his own access to the Library?

This reminds me of Heinlein's "The cat who walked through walls"

This seems to be an ability of some canidae as well.

However, only when he's pixilated....

FPF, pixilated is another euphemism for inebriation.

It was an attempt at humor. Forget it.

Yeah - i know.

Same here.

Have you ever seen a film (from the National Film Board of Canada) called Neighbours?

Oscar for Best Short in 1953. Shot in pixilation.

Was cut by a couple of minutes (at about 6:30, then restored from an old print that had deteriorated over the years in the 70s - you'll recognise where it happens)

First saw it (the cut version) at the World Science Fiction in 1966. {Where we also saw the Star Trek pilots about a month before it was on the air.}

I think it's pretty obvious that Dietzel isn't your average dog, as he's almost certainly older than Castela. I'm not sure how much, but a dog his age would certainly have shown it long before now.

There's also that time he threw popcorn in the air like confetti when Monica was having a little "me time." I think that page specifically mentioned that she was using a showerhead and pretending she was with Gerard Butler.
There is no such thing as a science experiment gone wrong.
