With THAT sort of incentive, I could have been a Rhodes scholar.

Well if that's what it takes to get through to Nadette on how to better understand math. LOL
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

If it could work for Billy Madison of all people, then it can certainly work for Nadette!

Just don't replace Atsali with Chris Farley like they did.

Parabolas and cycloids, my friend, are everywhere. They are an important component of squishy hugs.

Atsali took some basic psych courses along with her math and algebra.

I think the proper application of squishy hugs and kisses could solve all the worlds problems...

With a study buddy like that i am positive i would have taken the scholarships and went to college instead of going in the service and doing it that way.

Maybe but I bet you got your allotment of squishy hugs over the years as well. While it will speed up teenage learning I think your way lead to better retention, understanding, and focus. I did it the same way and feel I learned a whole lot more taking the long path.
Ambush questions are fun. Watching the mental impact of them as they distort, or crumble, opinions based on faulty logic.

I knew where that was going as soon as Atsali was talking about motivators . . . though I didn't expect the bikini! (I thought they were in the school library . . . )

DANG! If I'd have had reinforcement like that, I might have mastered calculus!

Well, maybe not even that would have helped. :(

The Library has a relaxed dressed code. Wasn't Euryale studying in the nude when Monica first came upon her? And swiftly got iced for the first time?

She had her earphone cords tied around her, supposedly covering the nipples, but I think that's a case of artistic license: physics AND anatomy. :P

Her iThing was strapped to her chest, covering one, and i think her hand or her book hid the other.

Yep. Here it is.

It strikes me that this works fine for homework.

What about classroom tests?

when she passes a test the higher the score the smaller the bikini. make a perfect score and she gets to be the bikini.
