Love Kathryn's expression. She was so looking forward to a quiet school night.

Looks like Atsali got at least 6" of lift out of her "CASTELA!!"

I think she's remembering how peaceful it was when she was dealing with simple things like a vengeful Nu Gui and a (literal) nuclear meltdown

Oh yes, adoption -- I remember doing that! One moment while I try to remember just why I did that. Something about.... ummm.... hang on here. It will come to me eventually. Cookies, was it? No, wait.... Ahhhhh.... hmmm. You were saying?

Yep. I've observed that, when that tone of voice is employed, younger sibs tend to levitate a ways and hit the ground already running in the direction of the nearest parent.

Levitate? In my sisters case i still claim it as valid evidence of teleportation. I believe this satisfies the discussion on Nadette's sexual orientation at lest as far as this case is concerned.

"First question: Why was there a box of cookies in your cleavage?"
And we're not talking snack pack or animal cracker size either. A regular size box of cookies.

Kath looks like she's going over the adoption papers in her mind right now, searching for a loophole.

So, basically one of the bear sisters may be straight as an arrow, but the other ...

I've always felt that as a matter of evolution, shapeshifters would be more likely to be bi-sexual since they could take the form of either sex. Therefore their sexual preference would be based on more emotional rationals.

I think there's something weird about those cookies.
I'd like to examine the box.
Is there a precedent for conjured versions of name brand items

About her feelings for Sali, yes. But anything beyond that is still a question mark. It could only be infatuation and she does not swing that way. She could be a switch hitter. It is also possible that ursamorphs do not have a real sex. As shape changers they could take on the form of either sex! So sex definitions could merely be a matter of social convention. I doubt that as the twins seem firmly grounded in being female. So the subject is still kind of wide open.

As they said earlier, shapechanging is not 'as simple as breathing'... :/ so any shape they take is not 'functional' (its like a costume..) , so they most likely take on their original form to reproduce.. :) how they do that of course is another question!! :P

and note they are 'ursamorphs', not 'full morphs'.. there was Futurama episode where the guy can morph into anything, so he could have an affair with anyone from a multi-eyed hippo girl, to a small lizard girl... until fry & friends discovered his scam, and showed his real form was a kind of beetle!!

I think ursamorph is what they are, not a definition of their abilities. Part of that question is are they humans who learned to change shape to bears? Or are they bears who learned to change shape to humans? Their shape change abilities are quiet strong as they do not wear clothes but change shape to appear clothed. that implies the surface is totally changeable to whatever they want. They are sexual beings as they are attracted to humans and they do have children. How is another question as implied.

THAT'S the box of cookies?!? I was thinking animal crackers or smaller, but something that size with sharp corners in Atsali's unprotected cleavage? This is up there with Lily stuffing a crystal almost as large as her head down Suzy's blouse and expecting nobody will notice it due to Suzy's only head sized breasts.

We're definitely talking Hammerspace, here. I wonder how such dimension pockets came about.

So, they would be bi-polar bears, or perhaps nonpolar bears?

You have to wonder if Nadette is confused about her feelings as we are. Almost from the beginning she's shown an eye-line interest in Atsali... lately its grown into something seemingly much more involved. It could be she just liked looking at Atsali... but recent activities have shown her the true depth of her feelings. Sincere admiration turned into something much more involved? To say the least, No one is more shocked than Nadette it seems. Teenage years are indeed the most formative years of our lives... and young Paranormals too!

Katherine? Welcome to parenthood!!! Castela may be six... Atsali may be fifteen or sixteen, but it appears they both still suffer from the terrible twos!!!
You know that light at the end of the tunnel?

Yeah... it's a bullet. Sorry.
