For some reason, your comment here reminded me of this. Feel free to enjoy a chuckle at my expense. My insanity is running rampant today.lake_wrangler wrote:And they still don't, even if I reach yesterday's page via today's back arrow...lake_wrangler wrote:The previous page's forward arrows did not work, yet...
No, their two levels of volume are loud and rattle the windows.shadowinthelight wrote:Yup, Castela is a perfect example of how kids her age only have two volume levels, low and high.
The low setting is only when you are asking them a question. Then they whisper the answer until you are good and mad...then they turn on the cute to avoid punishment.
Yanno how some people have Angels/Devils for a conscience? I have a Dark Elf ShadowKnight and a Half Elf Ranger for mine. The really bad part is when they agree on something.

Oh yes, the old "Do as I say, not do as I do" trick.
Little kids don't put up with that [BEEP] for long, do they
---
I worked out with my niece and nephew when they were little that the second best way to get them to taste something new was to put it on *my* plate and not theirs - They'd see me enjoying something they didn't have and ask for some.
The best way I knew was to get them to help with preparing the food - for some reason they were more willing to taste it if they were involved.

I don't know how Ma did it, but all four of us kids always ate our vegetables. In fact, I just got a big bag of carrots, and nearly ate them all, before I could cook with them.
Besides, a sugar crash can be a hell of a thing, especially if you're up past bedtime.

In that last panel - Castela doesn't really have the dentition of a herbivore - kinda like Bud's "take down a Cape Buffalo" choppers, or Tina's "Goth Chick dental office mix up"....
As an aside, I've had several dogs who love to crunch and gnaw on carrots.

Well, she may be an herb, but there has been no indication that she's an herbivore.NOTDilbert wrote:In that last panel - Castela doesn't really have the dentition of a herbivore - kinda like Bud's "take down a Cape Buffalo" choppers, or Tina's "Goth Chick dental office mix up"....

Let me put in a plug for one of my favorite long-term online vendors: Compact Disc Connection.ChattaStarhawk wrote:UPC: 883476030371Jabberwonky wrote:I MUST have this!ChattaStarhawk wrote:(Did you know that you can buy the complete Bullwinkle show in a box set?)

They currently list it for $70.29 plus shipping. $100 is apparently the list price.
I've been buying from CDConnection for so long that I can remember placing my original orders with them, over a dial-up modem direct to their BBS. They're not a "stocking" dealer - when you order something, they order it from their upstream distributors (the next morning, unless you get your order in early in the day). They seem to get almost everything in from the distributors within 3 days (sometimes 2) and they ship quickly. They can get all sorts of stuff you'll never find in a local store. They often carry CDs in several different variants (US and import), so check the labels and prices carefully.
I might just have to slip the Bullwinkle set into the next order I send in.

Judging from the last panel, we can say with confidence that Tina has had her ears pierced.

The Pun Vault is looking in your direction with great intensity now. I think it may want a volume or so of yours.Aed wrote:Judging from the last panel, we can say with confidence that Tina has had her ears pierced.
