My cholesterol is over 300 . . . the doctor is mildly concerned.


Mildly because my "good" cholesterol is higher than the bad, so that saves me.

And of course I don't responds to treatment.

Interesting. Do you have any information as to whether this is a familial (hence genetic) quirk? I have a vague recollection that I've read about a syndrome like that, at some point.

In any case, limiting your intake of deep-fried cheese curds might be prudent.
