If history is any indication, the strip and forum sites might be inaccessible at times over the next week or so... if I recall correctly the servers are in Texas. A few feet of water will really cramp the style of most data centers...

And those who prepare in other ways for the possibilities of disaster. Having a few days of emergency food, drinking water, necessary medications, toilet paper, and flashlights stored somewhere safe (and ready to grab and go) is essential.

The Wisconsin Dairy Association is being particularly helpful, in supporting its members' efforts to make special wheels of cheddar and parmesan (sealed in wax, high salt content so they don't need refrigeration) available to the public for this purpose.

Yeah, eh?

Bookworm's servers are located on the NW side of Houston, just off the 10 freeway heading west. I think that side finally got the rain to stop for a while.

That's just snow, not rain.

Pablo stated on FB that he's planning on only having pinups when the site came back online.
