Does Phix read webcomics?

I think she'd get a kick out of the last couple panels of today's Girl Genius.

How about this one? Not quite as action packed, though...

Hey Al, Sarge! Is that trolley ad one of yours?
Yanno how some people have Angels/Devils for a conscience? I have a Dark Elf ShadowKnight and a Half Elf Ranger for mine. The really bad part is when they agree on something.

Before re-reading the post and realizing he was talking about the AD, I started focusing on the streetcar, which looked to me like it resembled the ones in Toronto quite a bit... Sure enough, when I hit the About page, I read:
Subnormality is because of WINSTON ROWNTREE (not the author's real name), who lives in Toronto, likes to make comics for some reason, will respond to requests for comics-related advice, and will let you use comics from this site in your print/online publication if you ask nicely.
Only once I came back here to post, did I realize you guys were talking about the "Sod off shotgun" ad on the side of the streetcar (they're not called trolleys, in Toronto, but streetcars...)

If they try to get Jason Stratham to play the part of Sarge, I'd sue for defamation of character...

Maybe Clint Eastwood? He's a bit too old, though. He can't do much more than dodder around a house nowadays, I think...

For Sarge? More like Gabby Hayes....nah, that would get me killed....

More seriously? hmmmmm... Bruce WIllis. Yep. Same attitude. Works for me. Just glue a wig on him.

Bruce Willis... any Hollywood type that's also an NRA life member is alright by me. Who would play Al? Sean Connery, of course. Johnny Depp would play Glytch... no, not quite... TOM FELTON!! The kid who played 'Draco Malfoy' he's actually a very accomplished actor and did his own stunts.

Depp is about thirty years too old...

Malfoy?

Harrumph.

And Connery as Al?

I don't see it...

Ahhh...Glytch - Geezz, you just made me barf, dude.

Augh - I had forgotten - thankfully - about "Zardoz". I did NOT need a picture of Sean Conney running around in bondage gear in my head. Pass the brain bleach.

Other than that one regrettable lack-of-taste moment in parts, he's crazy enough to do the job.

However - as for playing Al - I would have suggested Pierce Brosnan. Did an adequate job as a Bond, so acceptable level of crazy to deal with the live actors on the set (you don't think we'd do this blue-screen, do you?) :)

Brosnan would work- and don't rule out Tom Felton- google up some recent images, he's a right handsome stud and impishly structured... and a very personable fellow. Gets his lines in the first shot, and can create whatever a director wants. You need a frighteningly intelligent übergeek? No big deal, he will deliver in a heartbeat with perfect pronunciation of any scientific lingo. And I think he's studied a little martial arts as well- might be able to do that French 'run away' tactic, Parcour, with a bit of training.

I just can't help but think "sneering rich-kid slytherin git" whenever I see Felton. Harry Potter is a big part of my life. My first full-length novel was Sorcerer's Stone. If it wasn't for HP, I wouldn't be the nerdy geeky type I am today.

You should see him in his other roles- he is in 'Risen'
