Don't forget "Templeancheathrairaluinn" (a virtual cookie goes to the first person who correctly figures out the relevance to Wapsi that I'm suggesting).

Which is to say, the location of the Klandar Machiniwhootiziz.

I may need to spell check that...

That's not such a big deal as totally misspelling a name, though. Almost no one over in the Sluggy forums writes Zoë correctly.

The reason for this PSA (Public Service Announcement, for those of you who hadn't figured it out) was because of the frequent misspellings in many of the daily strip threads.

There are a couple more places which I don't have the spelling for (the various Mayan temples in Mexico).

Going over the above list, I realized something: We don't know Kevin's last name.

Well, I was actually thinking of a different "temple". "Templeancheathrairaluinn" (or "Teampall an Cheathrair Álainn") is one of the longest placenames in Ireland; it's the name of a picturesque ruined church.

More pictures here and here.

Since Paul never disclosed the actual location of the graveyard in which the Vimana Cell artifact was reported to have been concealed, I figured I'd be so brash as to nominate one. Possibly the "four beautiful saints" for whom the old church is named, aren't quite who the local histories suggest? ;)

I should add the following:
  • Akashic Records (the "history of the universe", overly simplified)
  • Chichen Itza (one of the two Temples of the Jaguar)
  • Olmecs (a MesoAmerican culture that may or may not have been related to the Mayans and Aztecs - and Lanthians)
  • Palenque Ruins (where Kath and Atsali were "bounced" from; also the site of another Temple of the Jaguar)
  • Teotihuacan (the Aztec city complex where the Calendar Machine was said to reside)
  • Yaxchilan (where the Golems were "hidden" by the Powers That Be)
And, as a point of order: Pablo apparently wasn't consistent with his spelling of "Etetheitian" in the comic. ("Ethetheitian" was used at least once during the Lost Dolls storyline.)

Maybe Pablo needed this PSA too.

Another note from the WSCGTTWC Committee:
  • Calista Foxglove is the name of the Fae princess with an attitude who likes playing with ponies and cries.
  • Castel Enora "Castela" Gilchrist is the name of our Blackthorn Whatsit girl who was adopted by Katherine after the Lost Dolls of the Anasazi storyline. She also can curb-stomp Faes like Calista sans curb.

I was surprised to learn that Calista with one L, which I don't recall ever seeing before it use in Wapsi Square, is apparently MUCH MORE common than Callista with two Ls which I've seen several times.

But Google reports nearly 8.5 million hits for the one-L version, versus fewer than 0.83 million for two Ls.

(I still think the two characters' names are too similar. Although it's not as bad as another webcomic that has two characters, sisters, Maddie and Maggie.)

This is probably why she's being referred to in comic (and on here, to a certain extent) as "Cricket".

It just does get a bit annoying after a while. Of course, as said before, even Pablo has trouble remembering how to spell things.
