Very interesting! Just ordered a used copy through Alibris... should be some fascinating reading (if a bit macabre).

I recall a fantasy story about unicorns where the teacher was using them to teach the class about various subjects--ecology, anatomy, drawing, and so on. It ended with the teacher telling the credulous students (who were now beginning to doubt that unicorns existed at all) that there was a rumor of unicorns outside of town. As they all run off, and he settles in for a nap, he muses on how useful unicorns can be. . . .
