Re: More Stuff

James Patrick Harris, my stepson, has had a mishap with a pistol on the 11th of this Month. He did not survive. This was not a suicide, but a bit of poor judgement. His Mother and I have been attempting to tie up some loose ends and his fanfiction here falls under that category. I will give notifica...

Re: Unexpected Reunions...

James Patrick Harris, sadly, will not ever finish this particular story. On the 11th of this month, he had a mishap with a pistol. He did not survive. His Mother and I are in deep mourning as we try to tie up the loose ends of his life.

Re: Sgt Howard's wedding

"Very well," Al attempted to get back his momentum, "I have to admit, I have nothing to top that. Nothing. Not a wretched thing. We have all suspected for some time the levels of villainy this scoundrel is capable of... here by his own admission, we have proof that it's far worse than...

I had to suffer another 'mandatory update' for my HP laptop- currently I am getting MacAfee and Microsoft Edge 'notices' (standard blackmail attempts) regarding viruses and 'MacAfee about to expire'. They are popping up every 60 seconds with contradictory information. I tried MacAfee once before and...

Regaining himself, Al pressed on- "... now, the report gets vague here- it seems there was a (here he studied his notes)... 'contact made' ... scenario that ... "resolved the matter' ... and a lot of redaction. Dare I ask, 'what happened'?" Greg mimicked holding a phone to his ear- th...

Having decided that I showed very weak effort here, I started losing interest. Just finished re-writing a goodly portion thereof (towards the end), LMK what you think

Unexpected reunions comment section

My boys are tumbling headfirst into this situation with little in the way of training wheels- they have my permission to use my characters, as long as they at least TRY to stay canon with fanfiction. Feel free to comment as you normally would. Enjoy. ... seems like Niel is taking the whole fam damnl...

And my first-year high-school French teacher (from Paris - that was the last year she taught French, after that she was strictly an English teacher and for 2nd year I got a Canadian lady who hadn't studied French at all before college) told us it was formally (or plurally) « taisez-vous » and infor...

Joe- having read through some of your compilation "The Centurion and the Sphinx", I have noticed several editings that are clearly your hand- mind you, reading PDF on my computer is challenging, as scrolling becomes an 'all or nothing' affair- and I noticed how you modified Phix's dialogue...

Re: We have until about Christmas before new material, Where's the portal to the coffeehouse?

I got a perverse satisfaction of being able to legitimately order off the Senior Menu at Denny's tonight. :D ... youngling... I will be 70 in two years. I boldly ask, "Is there an 'OLD FOGY' discount here? I'm a government certified 'OLD FOGY!". If that don't work, I ask about a military ...

I just did some minor revision on the second-to-last entry... and will begin to finish this Charley-Foxtrot with a few more entries. The story about giving my Commanding Officer the "Kiss of Judas" during a tactical exercise and punking the FBI- THOSE ACTUALLY HAPPENED!

Zelle compliments the mage on his musical accompaniment and learns his name is Sargent Howard - 'Sarge' for short. Naturally, the two of them want to examine each other's instruments. Sarge is astounded to find no controls on Zelle's harp that could account for its versatility of sound. Meanwhile, ...

Just finished re-reading for the I-really-don't-know-how-many-timeth and was (again) delightfully entertained. Well composed, artfully crafted and completely satisfactory, it was a wild ride with tight moments and great humor, deep insight and some lovely vignettes- your work is quite impressive. Th...

"Well- THAT's an unusual qualification for a pastry," Tina exclaimed, " ... hmm- the Old Sgt. here is partial to the apple fritters, and unless I miss my guess before he comes here, he USUALLY has just finished..." "Uh, YEA- " Greg interrupted, "... uh, th' fritter...

"Whal now," the old Sgt commented, "that there is 'bout as fine an ax as Ah've evah seen! Just a minute here... " he muttered as he listened to the melody long enough to catch the direction and progression- then he summoned his own wide-neck classical soft string guitar. To Zelle...

Re: We have until about Christmas before new material, Where's the portal to the coffeehouse?

The old Sgt. waved his hand and suddenly the wall adjacent to Tina's coffee operation gained an extra 250 square feet- a lit Webber pot BBQ appeared with a table full of meats, vegetables and condiments. Two large pans of cornbread graced one end along with a large bowl of potato salad, an ice tub o...
