Nikon 200-500 telephoto at full extension.
I've got a Nikon 85 - 200. That's for a D5300, which is an APS-C sensor.

Wish i could afford a full-frame sensor camera...

And then a few of the smaller, cuter omnivores are often miscategorized as herbivores. Squirrels, for example. Gwen and I were watching a bunch of antelope squirrels at Valley of Fire this morning. They were chomping down on seeds, mostly, but I saw one stalk and eat an ant... and I understand they...

Forget the internal organs: How do they eat enough {of what} to survive? In the Chronicles of Narnia, C.S. Lewis approached that subject, mentioning that inviting a centaur for breakfast was quite a serious undertaking, as they would first eat a full human breakfast (eggs, bacon, etc, in still fair...

If GI Joe were 1/6 scale, we'd have had an army of 5' 6" dwarves... The original G.I. Joes ( and soon after, Action Man, in England ) were 12" tall... so supposing a 1/6 scale, we'd be talking 6' tall soldiers, not 5'6"... Hmmm - thought they were eleven inches, like Barbie and Ken.....

Re: Bikini Bottoms 2021-08-05

The "bikini" bathing suit was named after the Bikini Atoll, a cluster of coral islands that was used as the site of multiple early atom-bomb tests. So there's not much left of the islands. If the sea level rises as predicted, the remainder will be submerged. So then the new bathing suit w...
