I wonder if the so called alternate time lines are just memories of previous play throughs of the main time line during the calendar deal. We know there were 10's of thousands of play throughs before the one shown. So the flow of time may not match exactly giving us younger Barbra and an older Mindy...

From my own daughters experience of school with and over abundance in that department i cant even imagine having the added burden of a built in reputation as well.

We might also consider that Mindy could still be asleep and is just dreaming this.

The glowing eyes like most predators with good night vision would also indicate a living creature. These kids (and chaperones) may be about the find out that the fun of a ghost hunt ends when you actually find one.

I would argue the wisdom of scaring the crap out of a walking weapon of mass destruction. That just does not seem conducive to death by old age. Got to admit though Digit is a master of fireside ghost stories.

Valerie and Digit both seem to have larger ones but it may just be the way they are standing. When you have a group full of apex predators and one who is pretty much godlike in her abilities an eldritch horror is not much of a threat.

Personally at that age having my girlfriend setting straddle of me would have been viewed as a good thing.

I am very much impressed with the quick thinking of those two in pushing Pickle out of the way and springing into action. Preventing the deployment of a WMD is always a good idea.
