Re: Pecking Order 2012-08-14

Monster -- ermmm, that's a social designation. She's a Sphinx, and is perfectly able to do Sphinx things. Leopards do not change their spots, but with effort, you can have a reasonably polite and well behaved leopard. Just don't entice it to do leopard things! As a reference point, may I remind ever...

Re: No Title 2003-06-23 Broken?

The IE cache will try to use all the free disk space it can, and eventually it starts to backlog the system cache, and things slow down dramatically as the disk drive I/O gets clogged. The next time you IE browser starts slowing wa...

Veni Vidi Departum (Bad Latin). Veni Vidi Vengence There - I fixed that for you. She saw the opportunity to acquire one of the truly Great Weapons of history, and took it. The jawbone of an ass, of course. Congratulations on an observation/pun/commentary of Epic Proportions! As soon as I can get my...

Hmmm. Take one blood feud, simmer for millenia, reopen wound and stir. Yep - one hell of a recipe. For what, however, I'm not sure. Is it possible that immortality ultimately makes you stupid? As in unable to learn (vs. unwilling)? Nudge is taming care of Shelley, which is good. Apropo typo there! N...

Re: Self Healing 2012-08-06

My dictionary says cowpuncher (one word) means "a cowboy." Can anyone explain this term in this context to me? I've never heard it before. Independent troubleshooter or problem solver. Yes, but keep in mind the European concept of "Cowboy" is very different than the American one...

Ah! Well good luck then. At least you won't have to sift everything through Archive.org first, from the sounds of it.

Old Forums

Casting about my old links, I found the original Keenspot Wapsi Square forum was still online! http://forums.keenspot.com/viewforum.php?f=70 This form ended with the move to Blank Label comics as I recall. Somebody had mentioned skimming the older forums for listing on this new forum, so here ya go!

Re: What is one of your favorite webcomics, and why?

I waited a while to see which of my regulars would show up, and they certainly have! Since nobody linked Sinfest , done. My collection is based on delightful storytelling and good art, and especially both. But for several, the simple art amplifies the story. So... Gunnerkrigg Court (surprised nobody...

3. Bia convices Phix the her child should not be raised the library but on earth. Phix goes to the effort of changing shape to become his best friend as the boy grew up. One way for a mom to keep an eye on her son, talk about a dedicated mom. I do wonder how Phix got around the requirement of being...
