You might try not feeding that cats the day of the move until you're almost ready to leave . . . cats tend sleep after eating. And putting butter on the top of their feet after you arrive is reported to help them adapt to their new home. Apparently it inspired a full-body bath that removes the scent...

berkelianism . . . the idea that things only exist because they are observed. There was a professor named Dodd Who said “God must think it exceedingly odd, to find that this tree Continues to be When there’s no-one about in the quad.” Which drew the reply: “Dear sir, your astonishment’s odd; I am al...

Re: Crack Pot Story 2023-08-31

No, it's the stairs in the woods that are a cause for concern... I've seen those, a sturdy freestanding staircase made to reach an upper story entrance to a house that no longer exists, I even remember when the house was still being lived in for at least one of them. I've seen several of those . . ...

I also encountered a Canadian Kenworth that had been completely rewired . . . entirely with white #10 wire . . . my father wound up striping the wires with colored felt markers. Fortunately it was a 1973 off-road, so it didn't have much wiring, since the...
