Re: Full Disclosure discussion section
I’m half-city slicker, so I can put in a little input here: Some urban folks just ain’t got the Wild in them. They get... energy, I guess, from the life of the city itself. The bustle. The chaos. The lights and sound and all the different foods available and things happening everywhere, all the time...

That’s a new one.
I’ve never run into that. My best guess would have been to uninstall with Revo, but you can’t kill IE, to the best of my knowledge. You can only lock it in the cupboard under the stairs and tell it to pretend it doesn’t exist.

It’s amazing, the things you discover when researching quantum mechanics, neurotransmitters, and psychoactive drugs all at the same time. Things like... ways to let the brain enter into a state akin to the monster-hallucinating sleep paralysis without the paralysis. All the regenerative effects of d...

If you live in an apartment or a rented home, report the infestation to the landlord IMMEDIATELY. As long as they can’t prove that you brought them in, they have to foot the bill for the exterminator BY LAW, as I understand it.

Re: More Stuff
I think it is worth noting that the largest explosion mankind has ever mustered, the Tsar Bomba, has a yield of 50 Megatons of TNT.
The Krakatoa Eruption released about 200.
And the approximate yield of the Yellowstone Supervolcano is about... 875,000.

Ammonium Nitrate Fuel Oil I’ve got family in the mining industry. It’s about all they use in mines. The fertilizer needs to be in a specific configuration (pellets with holes, I think) but that’s not too difficult to do. The difficulty is procuring that specific pellet shape. It’s watched rather clo...

Re: Watch NASA assembling the next Mars rover - live
Next up: live-streaming efforts to manipulate drops of asphalt into forming a new Mars rover, as a new form of 3D printing! The next step after that, is to have a Mars Rover turned into an asphalt street producing vehicle... No longer worrying about rugged terrain, just have it form its own street ...

Cats are assholes. This one is just a dumb asshole. He went through all of that effort out of pure spite. Simple as that. No telling what it was that pissed him off. Coulda been any little thing. The most insignificant slight can prompt a cat to poop on your bed three weeks later. Cats are assholes.

I'm dealing with the wife and kid being in Detroit to clean up after my FIL's death, trying to build a new server to move all the hosting to, and a variety of needy customers - as well as trying to get people to pay me :) Baseball bats are great for that last one, if you’re not too scrupulous. :P

NNNNNG *breathes* I have one of just her and a limited print including her, and I am poor. I must exercise self-control. I must not impulse buy. Impulse is the wallet-killer. Impulse is the little-poor that brings total homelessness. I will face my impulse. I will permit it to pass over me and throu...
