Finals Are Done!
Holy Carp! This semester in school was so crazy intense, I didn't have time for anything. Yesterday was my last final, and now I am FREE until August! I have one more year, and then I have to do my full time student teaching (unless I am one of the lucky few who gets awarded a year long paid interns...

Re: Swimsuit season! (coming up! suggestions?!)
I'm always looking for suggestions - I got a suit last year that was SUPPOSED to be an H cup, but it's really more like an F (though I think it's on purpose, it gives me crazy cleavage, but I don't really want that when taking my kids to the waterpark). This year I got a tankini top from Lane Bryant...

I've been bra shopping...
I REALLY wish that bra makers would standardize their cup sizes - I now own a half dozen bras ranging from a G cup to a J cup. At least band sizes aren't too bad, they are one of two sizes...

Re: Update on my schooling!
Well, the biggest thing I worked on with that piece was using instrumentation to build volume, mood, and tempo. Basically, the more people playing, the faster and wilder it is supposed to get. Honestly, the easiest way to explain it is that I wrote how I personally feel after being on a merry go rou...

Re: stuck in a rut... possible way out...
Sounds like a fine plan - in particular I agree with renting out your house, as opposed to selling. Real estate is always a good back up plan (you can be brave knowing that you always have a home SOMEWHERE). And if you have a dream (cue Tangled soundtrack), then by all means pursue it! And if nothin...

I didn't get video of the orchestra performing my piece, but my teacher did record audio, I will email him and ask for a copy (I didn't even think of that, see how focused my brain is on the next final?!)

New is scary, but isn't always bad. On the other hand, family is very important. For me, I think the deciding factor would be this: Would I still be able to visit my family for big events, funerals, holidays? Or would the new situation be a complete break? If the new job would pay enough for you to ...

Update on my schooling!
Hey all, I'm halfway through my finals week and I thought I'd give you guys an update - earlier in the semester I had interviewed a couple of you for a project in my Exceptional Students class, I thought I'd let you know that I just got it back today and got 100%! So thanks VERY MUCH to the Wapsians...

I hope this ends up well - I think Nudge genuinely wants her friends to be happy, but she has already shown that her favorite way to "nudge" people is through gut reactions and anger.

Not a cosmetologist, but I still occasionally indulge in foot-torturing devices. When I'm feeling more able, I should go take a photo of some shoes I customized for myself - red patent leather and green glitter platform ankle booties with a spike heel.

OOOOH that ghost costume is super cute, I've never seen a ghost done that way, very ladylike. I may have to do that myself, some year. My kids' trick or treat photos ended up on my husband's phone, so I still haven't even seen them...
