I admin a fairly large music forum and there is no way to block all the spammers. I just go through the registration attempts each day, look up the IP block and ban it.

I'm up to over 1400 address blocks from Russia. If only countries had been given nice big blocks.

My money is on it being a windup, but it's Thursday, so that's it for four days.
On the bright side it's a time locked story line with only two weeks to play out.

That and Patreon is a nightmare. I supported several artists, but the security around made it too much hassle, especially when I was only trying to give away money, from an already secure source.

Two plots running with resolutions that will be weeks away. A good idea would be for me to come back in a month, but I'll be here tomorrow.

Well there's a bit of common ground/field. ( I had assumed the Fairport in your 'name' was a town or team, not that bunch of aging folk rockers.)
