Bud and Shelly are both (astral-)fireproof, right? Because the situation (if going by lore) will heat up *very* soon, and *very* much.

Several people have mentioned that many of the Paranormal cast must have Phoenix blood because they heal so fast. I tend to think there's more than one basis for Rapid Parnormal Healing - just none that have been detailed, other than just being supernatural..... We've been given to understand that ...

Like someone already mentioned, I'm actually a little surprised she's so doubtful. She's met trickster deities, little blue alcohol deities, titans, golems, sphinxes, demons, and tons of other things. Plus her dog knows how to order pizza. Why is a phoenix so unbelievable? And every time I see Shelly's smug expression in the last panel, I start to smile. It's just so beautiful.
