Oh the humanity!

Man trapped in ‘It’s a Small World’ wins suit

On the Daily Beast page that linked to that article, i posted the following:
Many years ago, a driver coming down Tennessee's Monteagle Mountain (if you've never been over Monteagle, it's about the hairiest stretch of Interstate this side of the Mississippi; all trucks are required to stop for a brake check before heading down the east-bound side) looked away for just a second to put a new cassette in his tape deck, and lost control.

He wound ran off the road (he was very near the bottom on the east-bound side, i believe), and wound up upside down, out of sight, in some brush. His seat-belt was jammed, and his right arm was broken.

He spent several hours like that before he was found.

The cassette he'd just inserted into his auto-reverse, continuous-play deck kept playing the whole time.

In a mere half-hour, though, this man may have suffered more ... and more horribly.
Not even duct tape can fix stupid. But it can muffle the noise.

Along about 2:50 in this video, we come to the place where the horrible accident occurred. (May not look lioke much on your screen - but the average grade is 6% for four miles...)

Some trivia about Monteagle:  At the Jasper TN exit on the westbound side, in 2000 the abandoned fireworks stand used as "Bowdark's Bus Stop Restaurant" sixteen years earlier was still standing, albeit in petty dire shape.

Got to be gone by now.
