...been there twice in the last ten years or so - once with a tough old guy who was like twelve or so years old and had lived a full life ...and once with a pretty little girl who was probably not even a year old.
I've said it several times over the last fifteen or so years:

When we went to the humane society to get her as a kitten, I asked her if she wanted to live with us.
She licked my nose.
As the vet was putting the solution into her (not even awake), she stuck her tongue out at me.

Vet said no worms or anything, but she gave us some diarrhea meds.
Rocket weighs the same as she did when i hauled her in for her ringworm, a couple months back - but she's gotten considerably longer, whch means she's a seriously lanky "teenage" kitty...
