If someone is looking behind you, when you've already been on an emotional (not to mention literal) roller-coaster ride, and says "I'm looking at the giant spider."

It is looking to me that even if Kath does not have some spider god blood in her, a spider may be her spirit/totem animal.

On the wall. That alcove is part of a huge spider image carved in the wall of the place that cover several floors. Climb the legs to get to the center where the hour glass is to find all sorts of interesting things.

In calling out Kath, who is an adult, for cursing Atsali has also cursed. Seeing as Kath is an adult, and not beyond such things, I'll hand the bar to her and let her administer Atsali's punishment. You're only fifteen young lady and not allowed to curse yet... open wide. hehee

Atsali must come from a rather old-fashioned family. Any 15-year-old of today likely wouldn't bat an eye if an adult said "bitch" (or "bitxch") in front of them.

It wasn't much of an apology especially after that dramatic scene about how she killed Kath. I guess that scene was just playing the game she is in and now it's back to the normal airhead she is.

And more than a bit freaky. This girl has interesting, and unexplainable, talents.

I'm not usually an early poster - normally I'm not up til 5:30 (PDT) or so. I woke up and decided to see how well Kath was doing - oh my. If she had paid a travel agent for this type of adventure - she should be screaming blue murder and demanding her money back - and damages up the wazoo.

Now - if this is to teach 'Chicken Little' how not to behave - I somehow don't think that the lesson would settle in . She's of the "instant gratification" school of thought. I'd almost tell Kath to leave her behind and go on . But I know that she is not that type of person.

Maybe, but I'm beginning to doubt that stopping up your ears or tying yourself to a mast would have prevented any of this.
