I didn't expect Katherine's Mom Voice to be able to intimidate Bud...

The lady is good!

I imagine the practice she has had over the past decade or so has served her well.

She must have been around different Goldies than I was. Just because they are cute doesn't make them canine angels.

The ones I was around, that didn't matter . . . they'd look so remorseful you'd have sworn they were printing travel brochures for the guilt trip . . .

Of course, I knew a labrador/newfoundland mix that could do that too. (He weighed up to 110 lb (50kg) and thought knew he was a lap dog . . .)

Who is the most powerful person, in the Wapsiverse? Monica? Shelly? Castela? Nope, none of them; it is Katherine, with the power of angry mom voice! Then again, considering who her children are, she had to develop that voice, just to keep the house from exploding.

I think Kath in the person who is really in charge of MIB, by virtue of her Mom Voice power over the people who are ostensibly In Charge. Who watches the watchers at MIB? Mom!

Hmmm . . . that's an interesting possibility . . .

Mom Voice is a special subset of Command Voice, which in turn is a special subset of Command Presence . . . I suspect Katherine has both.

Strong Command Presence will generally invoke instant obedience from just about anybody.

Paranormal ability would explain why some people seem to just have Command Presence.

Just hit me - in the first panel the view of Katherine somehow reminds me of Digit's profile...

No wonder Bud is so intimidated...
