Year of the Snake and insane cars

Post by DinkyInky »

Only the insane need apply.

Not only is it ugly, but it is so much more impractical than the ugly Hummer limo I saw today...

From the article:
"The company makes armored tanks like the T-98 Kombat (which goes for a measly $225,000) and the $1-million Prombron, which has the famous accoutrements like whale foreskin leather, the same as used on Aristotle Onassis’s yacht."

Odd that they don't offer leather in ostrich penis. Nothing says extravagance like the pointless harvesting of a rare species; whale is just so overdone.

They make note of the fact that they only use foreskins harvested from whale synogogues...

(they do not make note of that)

According to the article, ostrich leather upholstery* is indeed an option - along with the aforementioned whale foreskin, snakeskin (naturally) and crocodile belly.
Personally, I'm interested in the sharkskin floor mats. It takes a special way of thinking to come up with that.

Instead of that, I'd rather just get a custom motorhome.

Why not upholster them with Floridian Pythons? It would kill two birds with one stone...

Too common. Give me something upholstered in an exotic material like platypus fur. 8-)

This strikes me as somewhat similar to the huge civilian Humm-V that Dilbert's pointy-haired boss acquired, several years ago.

Its engine was fueled by the crushed bodies of (highly endangered) burrowing owls.

When he asked how difficult it was to find a fueling station, the salesman said this wasn't a problem. The vehicle would crush the owls all by itself as it drove along.
