From what I've seen so far, M's resurrections are painful. That's another reason for her to be pissed.

Or perhaps, she's been killed a few more times in between the original Kali-Ma! incident with Bud and now so she's used to it.

It looks like maybe Phix, while knowing something about her increased power-levels, wasn't aware of the whole resurrection power unless her, "Oh, no no no no pumpkin/sweetie" is more of a, "Ooops, sorry I inconvenienced a fellow being on my power level," instead of a prelude to a break-down like Monica was having in previous strips.
