Well, given the amount of time that Pratt has been terrified of Monica, I'm sure Phix's sudden appearance took nanoseconds to cause loss of consciousness. McBride ain't looking to chipper either.

Well she phixed a fine time to drop in didn't she. Both of them need to turn and run. Phix will find no traction in the brown streak they leave behind them.

That's what makes it all the more comical. Let us hope Phix has already dined and isn't peckish at the moment. I agree, it's their first time to the library so Phix is testing their resolve. They are vampires, so not as easily spooked as someone like Katherine was - gotta up the game a bit. But in this case, gotta wonder - do the undead have bodily functions? Did an MiB just pee themselves? ::snicker::

I dunno... considering how Phix referred to vampires as being "like shitty mosquitoes" and saying that Shelly could kill them without feeling guilty... I have a feeling that Phix's reaction might be genuine this time, and not just playing Stern Enigmatic Sphinx to deter frivolous human visitors. Everything we've been shown about vampires in the Wapsiverse, including the vampires' comments about themselves, says that they're considered to be the lowest of the low.
If Phix is as upset as she appears, somebody's going to have to stop her from turning the undead into verydead.
Next week: Tsillah shows once again that she's much more than a fangirlish little goblin with a fashion sense that could stun a rhino?
