Is it wrong of me to say I've kind of been hoping someone would do that to Monica for awhile now?

Figured someone was going to call Monica on her actions. Now who would have the chutzpah to grab Monica by her ear like she were a snotty little brat?

I just love that when Monica goes dark she does to Tsillah exactly what Phix did to her.

Now I am getting a better view of the plan, it is a multiform M.C. Escher type one (or is it more like Rube Goldberg?) (I think I am gonna need more Excedrin for this arc.)

Seriously though, that was quick. Though perhaps it's better that Tsillah snapped her out of it. She was about to storm off into the general population in that state. That could have ended badly.
And maybe she'll be more quick to realize what she just did.

Not at all. I think she needs something a little harsher, honestly.

I don't think that's Tsillah grabbing Monica. Tsillah has long sleeves on. That hand/arm doesn't.

Was thinking the very same. If she were, say, covered in blood and standing over a fresh kill, wouldn't it be just like the scene with Phix?

Taking bets of her (being forced into) empathising with Phix now... or not.

It's also interesting that whoever it is snapped Monica out of her dark funk back into her normal coloring.

It's actually in the forum rules. I was expecting a mod to fix it and yesterday's thread but The Old Wolf is a mod so depending on how access rights are set up behind the scenes he may be the only one able to rename them.

Also throwing in my vote that Euryale is the one doing the ear pulling.

A bit surprising that Euryale would take the matter into her own hands, so to speak.

Is it better to be found standing over a fresh grease spot better than standing over a fresh kill?

It makes sense that it is Euryale's hand in the last panel. After all, she was there when Phix had the equivalent 'Leave' moment...
