OK, that sounds like i was shilling for the product but the reality IS:

A) I used to play a LOT of Doom/Quake/Wolfenstein, back in the day.

B) I'm pretty sure I need a good reason to upgrade my hardware, this might be enough of a push (excuse) to get a soopy-doopy video card and wrap a PC around it.

... Such lighting detail doesn't come cheap for the moment, though. The lowest-end RTX cards that Nvidia recommends for real-time ray-tracing current start at a $339 MSRP.
