My own immediate thought was "Eventually the penny dropped and the mechanism emitted a faint creaking sound."

Well, it appears that Casstella has fallen for Shawna, and fallen rather hard. It is both a blessing, and a curse, that Scarlet has finally picked up on this. Scarlet is, much to Cass' consternation, going to help her friend face and accept these feelings; and as is usually the case, kicking and screaming through the entire process. The question I have, is how is Shawna dealing with these feelings? Remember, that she expressed the very same feelings for Cass.
