This explains what she meant by 'literally falling apart'. She doesn't lose body parts, she just reverts. I suppose after a good night's sleep she reintegrates.

If she IS still a teapot at heart, though, zooming around on a skateboard or doing other things that might cause breakage would seem to be... unwise. But she IS 18; almost a de facto definition of 'unwise'.

Ruri would appear to be a cast-iron teapot, which would explain her longevity.

And I'm thinking that she reshapes her hand, pours water in it, and sticks it in a fire. A few minutes later she pours boiling water from her hand into someone's cup.

It's self-referential thought. "I must stuck out my tongue, so that I can concentrate very hard on how I am riding, so that I do not fall down, and accidentally bite off the end of my tongue."

I wonder if she can whistle?

Also, what happens if she is in tea-pot form, gets filled up with tea, and then takes on human form? Does she get to enjoy a nice yummy tummy full of tea, or does it get somehow preserved within the inner pot?

I wonder if Ruri is ever tempted to get another teapot just like herself as a body double.
