Post by Fairportfan »

Halloween morning, Maggie (L) and Vellie (R), ready for school - minus shoes.

Last year i went out with Helen and the girls and took pictures as we went. This year, when Helen and the girls were ready to go, i was in the middle of making stuffed peppers for dinner ... so Kate went ... and, so, no trick-or-treat pictures.

Phooey.

Unrelated (?) synchronicity...they were serving stuffed peppers (stewed monkey heads, I say) in the mess hall last night...

We had mac and che- . . . Mummy brains, plus spare skeleton ribs, among other delicacies.

Are they ever cute!

They are lucky. The schools around here do not let them dress up until party time(hair and makeup has to be done at school, aka you have to go there and do it), then the costumes go back into the backpacks.

My son as the Great Consulting Detective, Sherlock Holmes. Top one with my dying camera at his school(I guess six years is a good long run for a mid-grade camera), bottom one the next day with his toy camera. More pics in the Tea Room.

Yanno how some people have Angels/Devils for a conscience? I have a Dark Elf ShadowKnight and a Half Elf Ranger for mine. The really bad part is when they agree on something.

OOOOH that ghost costume is super cute, I've never seen a ghost done that way, very ladylike. I may have to do that myself, some year. My kids' trick or treat photos ended up on my husband's phone, so I still haven't even seen them...

Helen made the costumes. I wish I'd gotten a shot of Helen in her Medusa costume.
