Remember Castela's casual stomping of Cricket just because she didn't like Fae, or her accidental squishing of butterfly Hiroshi (which would have been lethal to any other butterfly), or even her reflexive choking of Daylla. The reason why she needs a mentor is because she is at such a high power level and yet in many ways is still just an impulsive, emotional kid. She urgently needs to learn to tone things down and rechannel her energy when she gets worked up. And since Luci is not just some easily squishable person who Castela will have to be habitually mindful around, but is also a professional at teaching people to calm down, then she's all that much better for teaching Castela. The few people who are at Castela's level of power and durability don't have Luci's same skills.oldmanmickey wrote:Something isn't adding up here for me. all the others have mentors that are as powerful or more so than the one they are mentoring. So, you're saying that our young Padavine is now studying with master Yoga, teaching her how to use her Force?Catawampus wrote:The reason why she needs a mentor is because she is at such a high power level and yet in many ways is still just an impulsive, emotional kid.
