His analysis of the materials is not what I'd expect from a young lad. Cultural differences, perhaps?

The shorts are skimpy, and elastic. His reaction is inevitable given his ancestry.
You're so fae,
I'll bet you think this thong is about you...
(With apologies to Carly Simon)

Woo, this guy is good. I can't tell if he's doing this intentionally, or if this is just his natural personality / super cute boy powers messing with Pickle's head.

By the way, how old is she now?
I'm pretty sure she's a bit young to be looking at that area at the moment... (granted, being underage definitely can't stop her... Didn't stop a lot of the girls who went to my school, as around 30 of them wound up pregnant before graduating.)

"Mom! It's me! I'm not de-"
gets run over by a car
I don't know why thoughts like that go through my head. I'm a horrible person.

Well, as long as she doesn't do something that causes her to produce any kind of weird(er) offspring... She needs to finish school first.

The only think that could have made this strip funnier is if Castela's jaw was in her lap... her eyes are already bugged out... (well, for her anyway)...

THAT, is a stupid scene, if I've ever seen one!
No bus driver worth his salt would fail to notice two girls standing on the road for a good 10 seconds, and not try to avoid them. Even considering the fact that there was an underpass just before the crossing, hindering the view somewhat, the fact that it's a school crossing would mean the driver would know to start slowing down ahead of time, at the very least. And even if he didn't, once he came up the incline, he would have seen them and tried to avoid them by both blowing his horn and braking hard, neither of which happened here.
Rule of (supposedly) funny, perhaps. But more likely the producers didn't do their homework, because no bus driver would ever let something like that happen the way it happened in that scene. This just goes beyond Suspension of Disbelief...
