I think that's a Top Gun reference, but I'm not completely sure.

Wow... no reply in 42 minutes after the initial post... :P
(And, of course, by the time I'm done checking my reference link, someone has taken the time to reply...)

I was wondering if we had not seen that one already, as part of the earlier collage, but I guess not...

Funny: such a fierce looking girl, yet she takes the time to do her nails...

It is, it is! However, I did not hear the "Hey, Maverick" phrase in this clip.

It does give a whole 'nother meaning to 'Playin' with the boys' . . .

And two different causes for nosebleeds.

I see potential facial injuries in the near future.

da Lil' Weed is growing up.

I wonder when was the last time she disassembled into a bramble of thorny vines...

it is for sure a reference to top gun and not that it matters but is my favorite movie. The actual phrase "hey maverick" was made by iceman in a later scene. I have a distinct feeling that playing with her could give a whole new meaning to danger zone.

Yeah... that looked just sooooo realistic... I'm really convinced that "mind over matter" type of convincing really was able to bring those girls around from getting creamed to catching up and overtaking the guys... Not to mention the guys suddenly becoming rather incompetent and klutzy... ;)
