That's not too bad, given the level of fangirling earlier . . .

Someone needs to teach that girl how to smile. Not Digit, Katherine. Way too much molar there Kath.

She's just under-equipped. All the real Paras get fangs (some capable of taking down a Cape buffalo, according to Bud).
Kath, as a sextuple human chimera, has to make to do with ordinary molars and dark sclera. You use what you have...

Given her introduction to Atsali, Digit might just figure that this is something that runs in the Gilchrist family.

Maybe Digit can learn from Katherine!

No, ambush would be with the youngest member of the Gilchrist family. This is Katherine, so it's amanimal or ammammal.

That would be enough to make me nervous. Kath kinda looks like she wants to pin poor Digit.

Arachnobivalent, I believe -- she both loves and fears spiders!

Indeed. She is an arachnaphobic arachnophile...
An arachnophobiphile? Or would that be someone who likes people who are afraid of spiders?

On the beach: Digit,
Kath (arachnobivalent)
make an odd couple.

If you mean 'ambivalent about spiders'.. 'ambivalent' means you do not care either way...
she is scared of spiders, so she exposes herself to remove the phobia.. I think digit is the 'hey, I chatted to a very nice spider today!' erm thing..

I wonder if anyone (that doesn't know them) has mistook Digit for Monica's biological daughter yet.

Ambivalence can be intense -- Fight... or Flight?
Perhaps indifferent was the word you were thinking of.
